As implied by our name, we are passionate about zero emissions vessels—and Healthy Ports and clean water.
FULLY ELECTRIC TOWBOATS
Initially, we are focused on designing, building and deploying fully electric towboats that tow or push barges on inland waterways and fully electric educational outreach and research vessels.
LOCATION
We are headquartered in a landmark building in New York City’s South Street Seaport Historic District. The Seaport played a decisive role in New York becoming America’s largest city and Wall Street’s emergence as the nation’s financial center. While we are by no means limiting our activities to the city, we believe the Seaport is both a fitting—and inspiring—base for a company participating in the maritime industry’s transition to a zero emissions future. For Zeeboat™ the future is now.
TEAM
Zeeboat™ was founded by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs with special expertise in alternative and conventional energy, finance, media and communications, public relations and legal affairs. We are working with leading maritime technology, engineering and naval architecture firms.
BUSINESS MODEL
Our business model is to work in close collaboration with government agencies and nonprofit institutions, mobilizing and deploying capital for the common good.
